I have the mess tins but not the burner part, I have used them on an open fire and that's about it.

Personally I find it hard to go wrong with this kit.

The video didn't show how to use the hook to secure the kit when packed, here you go:

Funnily enough I've been playing with my old Swedish mess kit these last couple of weeks - inspired by this video

So far I've only got as far as using the oven at home for a bannock (getting ideas from this thread)

Results have been pretty good so far, and have met with approval from the DHD clan:



My next project is to try this outdoors with coals.
