Looks like I'm going to be in Victoria on the west coast of Canada for a couple of weeks in early summer. I'd love to go and spend a night or two in the woods whilst I'm there, but I know nothing about local rules. Can anybody enlighten me?
Are there wild places to camp?
Are fires allowed?
Are bears and/or cougars a big risk?
Any suggestions where to go? Id like to hike out for a day, stay out and then hike back.
