After doing some file work on my new knife it got me started. So with file in hand i started on my Tomahawk and got carried away. Not ever ones cup of tea.

I keep admiring this filework malarky, is it hard to get them uniform on all the faces? And physically pretty demanding, I should think, repetitive strain must be quite high?? I'd love to understand more about it :)

Is very beautiful, btw!

That's cracking mate and it fits very nicely

I would love to have a go at file work, it certainly gives an item much more character.

Thanks guy's for the feed back on the file work.
I have a look at cold steels hawks (nothing wrong with them) but i wanted something that i can have a play with and use .
So in the end i went with this one from Jas Townsend in the USA. I have also filed out the handle hole so i can put a different handle in when i get around to it.
