Hello I havn't used this forum for a long while, and was wondering if there are any activities in the oxford area? or any meet ups (even if it is just a pub meet up?) I live quite near to port meadow.

Hello got mine through the post this morning. not had chance to look at it properly, but it looks good so far. especially like the article on bushcraft and contemporary living. not sure if many other people will have subscribed to this on this forum, as there had been some bad responses to it.

good idea is to find out who ownes the woodland and then ask them if you could use it - you might be suprised, some land owners are very accomodating.

i picked up a pair of british army current issue gaiters from a car-boot sale the other week for £10 .

hello i know other people have had problems with them, and there was mention of them before on here. I ordered two items from them on the 2nd of July... after giving me the total run around, and telling me that the items i had ordered would be in stock and dispatched with in seven days...

i use www.doteasy.com - had no problems with them. and the tech people are fast in responding.

i ordered two items from them a month ago. and after waiting, and emailing and getting hardly any reply, i phoned them - only to be told one of the items was not in stock - even tho they had debited my account for the worth of that item; i asked when it would be in stock they said a week...

if i there was woodland local to me for sale and people were into it i would chuck in up to a grand at the moment.

wow - sounds like an odd tale indeed. victor neuberg used to live in steyning and used to visit Chanctonbury ring. i've had nothing but wonderful nights up there. nothing odd has happened in the slightest.

yes i know what you mean - i guess in some ways thats the problem - when the hunting of an animal becomes a "sport" - then people seem to think that the winning is the important part, when really if you are out their capturing an animal then it is best to capture / trap / hunt for a reason other...
