Yew handled whittler

Hi all, finished this little whittler yesterday, its a Polar blade with a lovely grained Yew handle, i made the handle quite long but that helps with carving i feel. I also made a blade cover for it out of 3mm veg tan.

Good stuff I was working with Yew yesterday, my nostrils and throat are suffering for it this morning. Had a mask on too....grrrrr

Indeed. I would have personally given it a fatter handle. But it looks great. I'm yet to see something ugly made out of yew.

Cheers everyone, and Niels I didn't have much choice on the thickness as I used an off cut from another project but as luck would have it the knife fits my grip perfectly
