wooden feather

I was inspired by a thread on here the other day and had a go at a wooden feather.I was amazed at how easy this was to do.They are a loverly little project .this one took me less than an hour and i am quite pleased with it.Definitly more to come by the way the wood is laburnam

That is indeed very nice Very attractive

I have used the shavings from the draw horse to make very quick 'feathers' for crafty things with kids, but that one looks much more 'finished' and permanent

The cross section is slightly curved. Luckily the log I split it off was curved so I just went with it.
