Winter shelter

I'm after a winter shelter but unsure which I should get. A dd 3x3 tarp as it can be figured into a teepee and much more

I'm no expert but would imagine it would depend on the kit you already have. i.e. I don't think a hammock would work that well in the tepee. Having said that, I like the look of that Teepee and for that price it would be a good addition to your kit. As if you could ever have enough....

I'd go with the dd 3x3 can be used in more set ups and can be used throughout the year.
grab a decent survival blanket and you can line the tarp to bounce heat back from the fire too

I'm not really sure, I already have a 2.5x1.7 metre basha. But which shelter would be warmer if there was no fire, and if you had to is there any configurations with a 3x3 that allows a fire to be underneath the basha if it needs to be sheltered from the rain?????
