Exactly, I have never stopped to think 'this fork is a little on the heavy side'. Is weight the only advantage to titanium?

It's the only advantage over stainless, yes. There are other advantages over: plastic (it's tougher) over wood (it's cleaner/more sterile)

Valid point but I like the shape of the Light My Fire things, the placky ones break too easy and so far I've never even seen a stainless one. Not that fussed about having something hand carved from enchanted elven woodland trees.

Ti it is then. Plus I didn't buy mine, it was bought for me by a mate.
