Like so.

Friends trying to foist it on me...Totally useless of course. (I need a boat that might like the Thames)

(If it was a bilge keeler...)

Anyhow, this yacht has no owner and the Yard wants it out. ("You like boats?" kind of talk)

It has;

Watertightness
mast, rigging, sails, (including a spinnaker)
legs
a ladder at the back.
a CQR anchor
a supply of sad fenders
a lot of rainwater inside

It needs;

An outboard
some work to a scrape on the side
new cushions (The thing is a daysailer but has 3 bunks for some reason obscure to me.)
A good clean and TLC
putting on the water
lots of cussing at
a pair of bilge keels (IMHO)

If anyone was prepared to bother with polishing GRP then this would come up very pretty I am sure. I am told Hurleys are good yachts (If they had a decent draught, I say. I am a lubber and I want a lubberly boat)

She is on the Fal.

I had a word with the yard and they say it can have 3 months free storage to do the work in. They want £500. (They will help rig it and all)

(Whether that price would involve launching is negotiable)
