Walking socks

I'm walking up snowdon again in July,and I have been breaking in my new boots.

I didn't buy them from there,just an example.What would you recommend as a good sock to wear with them.

I go Commando. HJ Hall Commando's. They're not too expensive, hard wearing, easy to wash. I do 4 - 12 miles most days in Meindl Douvre Extremes and the Commando's cope with it. The only holes I get in them are from excessive wear from a chewy border terrier!!

Thanks I'll check them out,when my dog was a pup he loved to chew my work boots up,glad he's grow out of that

+ 1 for the commandos, but if you want the real RR of walking socks you gotta get Bridgedales!
