hi all, i've just been told Tatonka have stopped making their tarps in green as they don't sell enough of them. this seems mad to me i'd have thought green would sell better than any colour. anybody else heard of this?

That does seem odd, I would imagine everyone on here (I know I have) that has a Tatonka tarp has it in green.
I hate the green ones, all the ones I have now are "cocoon" which it a sandy colour and much nicer to wake up under.
Not true I got one this week and I had to wait for it coming from totonka to the supplier,

hmmm, maybe he just meant the polycotton one's as that's the one i was after. which type did you get bigwolf?
Thats odd the chap at tamarack told me he had just got the last ten from Tatonka, looks like bull**** then. sorry about that wrong bit of info, i just thought i'd pass on what i've been told in case anybody was thinking of getting one.

I seem to recall people at Delamere complaining of feeling sick after lying under the green ones, must be the shade of green. I went with cocoon after seeing the two different colours at various meets. The Tatonka green is a bit of a nasty shade IMO.
This was my first one.
It had no seam tape so it went back and I changed the colour at the same time.
It's a sort of bluey green and I just found it knackered my colour perception when I had been under it for a while. Not good for a photographer.

Lots of tents are using the old mountain rescue orange colour, how long before Tatonka do I wonder?
