Best used over a fire Asa, the supplied burner is crap
I use the civvy trangia burner, much better

managed to do the job today
used paint stripper
the reason being was these pans were made a long time ago even though they are new there from old stock and you just dont know what the paint contains eg lead or any other nasties that might be released with the heat from a fire so wanted to remove the old paint
