For those of you who`ve already got one, will a "wayland-esque" hobbo stove fit in the main compartment ??

A mates got one up for grabs so I might be tempted if it does.

Just and I mean just! Reason I know? I just tried it for you.
It will take up all of the main compartment and where are you gonna fit the chocolate?
Personally I got the stove and wouldn't put it in my response pack.
Horses for courses though! Dave

Cheers guys, I think I might give it a miss then if it`s going to be a squeeze. I`ll stick with my Cyclops side pouch.

Jeez Gary thats more stuff than I cram into mine!!!!
Great to see that you take pretty similar stuff in yours to mine....one question though doesn't it pull the old Viking trousers down?
I end up wearing it over the shoulder quite often....how do you keep the trouz up?
I do like the response pack though but sometimes wish it was a tad bigger!?!?!

:D I don't wear the thing, I use it as a grab bag for all the bits and pieces that you need around camp but want to keep in one place.

I carry a fraction of that lot if I'm packing.

Since those pictures I've added a reel of cord, a marlinspike, a swedish fid and an awl too.

Makes sense mate. I do a similar thing, but end up turfing stuff out when tracking or walking and using it for that as well!!

Hi Folks I was Actually thinking about getting one of these myself.
To Carry Cooking and medical equipment.

How exactly can it be worn if Im carrying a rucksack on my back.

Sorry if that seems to be a dumb question.

Thanks?

It's easy enough to add your own, i used a old laptop bag strap on mine so i can detach it if needed, also cut off the waist belt, i was never going to use it and it just got in the way
