Just thought I would share with you folks a few of our recent outings with the littlest family member.

The front of canoe is a favourite location for spotting bugs, fish, and moose.
Or the occasional beaver dam. Watching the big people drag the canoe over the top is always a good laugh.

Snacks and hot drinks ensure a successful outing for everyone. Gives us a little negotiating power, and the little one something to look forward to.

The occasional sidetrip to chase cows, climb hills or climb on stumps is always a welcome change. But we were a little worried because the canoe 'got so small' while we were walking.

Never fear, we all fit back inside after our little stroll.

Thanks for tagging along on our little trip. This time of year we always revel in one last paddle before the hard water season sets in and forces to exchange paddles for skiis, shorts for parkas and toques, and tarps for canvas tents and woodstoves.
