old style bow saw

got this a while back and used disposable blades untill i found a setting tool at a car boot sale after a few hours jointing, setting and sharpening i have this

it has a 30" blade which is a bit bulky but is definately worth its weight if there is lots of sawing to do.

now it cuts better than with the shop bought blades!


anyone else use these?

We had one back in the states. Didn't really see much use though I still remember it fondly as we'd use it to cut a christmas tree every year
