My Books have arrived!!

At last the books i ordered from amazon have arrived

outdoor survival handbook - ray mears
essential bushcraft - ray mears

and the wife is buying me the series book and DVD for my birthday. Cool!

Lots of reading to do this weekend if its raining

apart from sunday when i am shooting in a longbow comp

That's some nice reading there.

I've been reading a few pages out of Kephart's 'Camping and Woodcraft' to my girlfriend every night for the past few weeks. As a non-outdoors person she's now having some inexplicable and (to her) distressing urges to chop wood and make a camp...

Needles to say, my feelings around her growing enthusiasm for my hobby are.. mixed..

Beware the power of these books.
