Wingstoo, rock and a hard place, when I joined I knew I was going to go to N.I, but what else was there? As is today, the majority of guys joining up have limited choices. They know all right when they take the shilling where they are going, but limited education and options, army is all there is. So, tell the boy with his leg blown off serves you right you knew what you was doing.

I believe that Rik is right in his post, this thread started with the sad news of the death of two Servicemen and became a place to offer their commiserations.

It has since wandered way off track and is becoming somewhat political.

With this in mind I'll close it and allow it to fall from members minds.
