A really nice offer. If I didn't have one in English and one in German dunno I'd take you up on the offer! My SFA and Pocket Axe are firm favourites. The pocket axe usually slips into the Swedish Snow smock pocket before a quick tramp up the woods if I am after a bit of whittling wood or a nice stick of some sort. The SFA is a great axe for use in camp, simple chopping and splitting tasks are made easy, for those sort of variable jobs it excels.

If there are any german members who want my german axe book, they are quite welcome to it, not wanting to steal any thunder or anything from the initial gesture. Just thought it would be better in the hands of somebody who would read it and understand it in their own language.

By the way, which Gränsfors Bruks axe do you carry mostly? .

Just to be different I use a 1900 pattern broad axe and a Swedish Drawknife from GB though these are work tools rather than bush toys The broad axe does get used for camp duties too but its a bit big and heavy for such things really.
