British military aircrew cold weather mk3 jacket

Hi All,

My Dads friend owed him a favour and gave him this jacket in return. The jacket looks un-issued and is in perfect nic, no marks, stains or signs of wear.
Pretty sure this is ventile as it feels exactly the same as my wetwinds. Downside is its just too small for me
They are going on ebay for £160 new!! or £70 issued grade 1. Very capable jacket just a shame its no use to me.
So looking for a trade or offers for the grade 1 price even if it looks unissued. Size 6
Size 6 To fit Height 172-180cm / Chest 99-107cm Approx: 5'8"- 5'11" Height / 39"-42"

They're a bit short to be of much use - a nice fashion jacket, though. Wish I'd never given mine back now!

Sorry resurrect an old thread but does anyone know the best way to wash these and re-proof them?

Wash it 40 degrees, NO detergent or soap, line dry............the waterproofness is in the structure of the Ventile, that's how it works. If you really need to proof it, just good Cotton proofer is the way to go....atb mac
