Hello and welcome

I don't know Bognor that well, but you are not far from the South Downs or the South Downs Way. I remember many years ago walking it from Buriton to Eastbourne and free camped all the way. Mainly camped just to one side of the track. Also free camped a few months back about 4-5 miles east of Amberly (again on the south downs way). Saw quite a few little copse heading out of Amberly that would be suitable, if you can be up before the dog walkers get out and about.

I live near Littlehampton/Arundel so am down the road from you. The downs are you best bet as they are a bit more remote, so you can have fires & have less chance of being disturbed etc.. Best thing is to get the OS map out & have a look but I would stear clear of the Goodwood estate, as he has too many keepers...
