Autumn Picnic In The Woods

Took the little one for a picnic and a hike the other day, thought I’d share some pics.



She is never still, so she ran circles around the picnic area while I got out the food and drink…then we had some fried chicken, some rolls, a little cheese and some juice.

Then we rode out to a bluff to see the view.

As I said before, she’s almost never still…

But, she will stop to pic the flowers

A shot of my light load, the knife is a Hunter Model from Fiddleback Forge, and it’s in a sheath made by a friend named Craig Anthony. Loving both very much.

A shot of the moon through the trees.

Saw what I think is a large gray rat snake about 6 feet long.

A hawk who wouldn’t let me anywhere near him…

Some tracks, a coyote, large canine that I believe to be feral (looks like wolf but they say there aren’t any here), and what may be some bear tracks.

Yep, it's that scenery that helps me forget about all of the nuclear "stuff" for a while sometimes. Thanks, I like doing reflection shots and we have a lot of water to work with here. Oh, I'd love to be able to siphon some of that off and bottle it!
