Anyone going to the Aberdeen talk in October ?
I'd seen someone mention in in another thread, but can't find the post.

Is this proposed meet to be a full BCUK Aberdeenshire Meet, with folk coming from all over the country, or just a few 'locals' going for a weekend in the woods ?
If it to be a larger meet then I suggest Back o' Bennachie as a good venue, there is ample car parking and mains water there, and the Forestry Commission allow the Scouts to run similar events there. Also it is near to Archaeolink, which would be of interest to folk who are into re-enactment and living history.
Just my 2p worth
Doug.
Having made a late attempt to catch a midsummer sunrise, I can't recommend Craigshannoch when it's breezy; unless you have a very low profile tent or bivi.
Nice views, though.
Nice cave on Craigshannoch though...admittedly with low headroom lol
