not sanded, just carved and linseed oil

Yes was great and easy to work with. Less rippy as normal birch. More fibers I guess.

yeah practise really makes the difference
I do not consider myself good, but like to do it, and then one evolves. But these spoons are nowwhere near lets say Jogge Sundqvist or other real wood carvers.
But I do not carve so much and long :)

I want to try carving but don't have a spoon knife, or even a proper woodcarving knife. I guess its another entry on the list - make myself some carving tools.
Maybe I'll keep an eye out for some suitable wood and try a cheeky spatula first!!

Nicely done on those, Mors. I like the unsanded finish.
