Hello folks,
As this is my second post i thought i'd post about my first ever course, i decided to go on a bushcraft/camp weekend & navigation course run by Gary from Bearclaw/Survivall & Will from Bushcraft navigation,
I travelled to Chelmsford Essex on friday & was welcomed by Gary, Steve, & Will with a good cuppa
The weekend had a relaxed comfortable feel & the 10 of us got on really well, there were no egos at all just good folk wanting to learn & share gained knowledge,
The Navigation course was done in spurts which allowed you to take in the details & try to get your head round it, Will was an excellent tutor with a good even temperament he put us all at ease.
it was not a rushed course it was set at our pace NOT the instructors, Will was extremely patient & answered my Mr stupid questions,
i came away with a high regard for the instructors & the other students.
There was even a swapsies where you brought along unwanted kit & swapped or gave away
I have posted links so others who maybe interested in learning the skill of bushcraft navigation can source the information easy.
so for an overveiw :-
for my 1st course & meet with other likeminded folk i thoroughly enjoyed it & i'd recommend these "bushcraft/Camp" weekends to anyone, with the credit crunch & everyone tightening their leather belts i found this weekend very affordable
