    those are convex indeed, but I'm searching for a scandi grind... most of them are in O1 (in the carbon range) but that's a bit to corrosion sensitive for me A2 and 3V are better corrosion resistant, that's why... and what is a scandi convex?

    Do you mean steel plates or blank blades? as far as I've seen on the enzo trapper and fallkniven f1 blank blades are not that much cheaper.. I'm gonna take a look at all the blades you guys proposed here :-)

    I think I will go for the bravo 1... beautiful knife!! more expensive than my goal, but I think it's worth spending extra. together I'll get me one or two mora's for the skandi grind, for the more precise carving needed. I still want to get me a bachup knife, in case the bravo desides to leave...

    thanks for all the replies!! and what about A2 steels by bark river? A2 also isn't stainless but as far as I read possible for jungle environment.. After searching a lot of info, I'm getting to think D2 is not best suited for skandi grind.. so there goes the enzo trapper from my list...

    well.. in Brazil import taxes are ridiculous... and don't fancy either being cought with illegal importing :-) I think I want to by myself a fallkniven f1.. and also fancy the enzo trapper. but there seem to be a lot of complaints about de D2 chipping. the O1 calls me more, but hot and wet...
