    NOOB ,Pocket knife recommendations

Welcome to BCUK! I'd recommend anything from Case (heinnies have them. Usual disclaimer etc). They're brilliant quality and very traditional-looking, reminiscent of the type of knife one's grandfather may have carried years ago. They're pretty pricey but I believe there is a model which is...

So is Mr Mears on the forum?

I can't help but wonder, if Mr Mears is on this forum, how much amusement is he getting out of this thread? It must be hilarious to hear all of these conspiracy theories about yourself.

    Custom Forged Wilderness Bushcraft Knife

I was thinking more to just laugh in their face when they realise that amazing tool they just spent their hard-earned cash on was made of steel as strong as play-doh. And of course to show then a better looking, better functioning tool that can be bought for a LOT less!

    Custom Forged Wilderness Bushcraft Knife

That is a ridiculously high price for that knife. It doesn't even look like it's worth half of the asking price! That bio was certainly "interesting"... I'd love to see the "definite proof" of all of the claims he makes...designing the spyderco bushcrafter, being best buddies with Mr. Mears...

    Fixed blade carry question

I think this quote sums it up really. Be careful and you'll have no problems explaining your legitimate reason for having sharps on you. There is always a chance that you will at some point have to justify your presence or what you have on you, but it's your response that dictates what response...

    Fixed blade carry question

If it's a genuine mistake then there shouldn't be any problems. As the OP mentioned that this would be in relation to a bushcraft activity, it'll be pretty obvious by the way that you're conducting yourself that you do not have any ulterior motive for being there. This would be shown in what you...
