As it draws closer to my visit over to Hull to do a bit of a course with Mark Constable, I managed to pick up a blacksmith hammer head over on BB. This weekend I gave it a dressing and made a grippy handle out of some cherry. The handle went a bit south at the top as I started to thin it down but decided it didn't actually need it. Now, if I could just lay my hands on something to use as an anvil...
