Are you going to process the pelt? It would seem a shame to waste such fine fur.

You could try two rings or D rings instead of a traditional buckle. That way you dont have to worry about holes for the tine of the buckle. Just thread the loose end of the belt through bth rings then back over one of the rings and under the other. The tension naturally holds it in place. If...
