I was wondering if anyone could advise / inform me of any herbs available at this time of year for tea or cooking such as stew.

For example I have heard that needles from certain conifers make a good tea.

It would be particularly helpful if there were any photos to help me find and identify them.

I know that in my garden the sage, rosmary and thyme are still green and healthy even after a few heavy frosts. Pine and spruce needles make a refreshing tea, full of vitamin C.

Mine too, and I've been for a toddle along the burn path and there's still a lot about. Fresh nettles coming up  Cuckoo smock leaves brightening up, and what looks like Ransomes starting to come through too. All gooood food :D

Cheers,
Toddy
