I have been searching for a good article on knots and how to tie them, and did not find much of any good really, untill I came across this.So I thought I would share it with those who are interested.

Thanks for the link. I've never been much good with knots so i use bungees and tent poles with a poncho. However, poles & bungees are a little on the heavy side & i've been thinking about swotting up on a more lightweight setup using just paracord and that's a brilliant tarp tutorial.

Thanks for the links. I've tried to follow the 'outdooridiots' tutorial before, but I can't work out how to keep the ridge line taut while tying the second end (the 'taut hitch'). For some reason in the pictures it appears that it will always lose some tension. Maybe it's just me!
