Enjoyed a great day up the woods today with Hugo, no Rockmonkey today though as he was working.

We didn't walk far, just up to what we call the spoon carving tree, not that we carved any spoons today either, we basically, just enjoyed a totally lazy day in the sunshine

Hugo did find a badger skull, but we left it up there, along side the other one we found up there once before, Hugo did score a nice Beech burl though

We also saw a good size herd of Fallow deer when we arrived, not as big as the herd we saw a few weeks back, and later in the day we saw a Roe deer just up slope from us, it's in this picture somewhere

We also located a great spot to go and watch badgers from one evening, all in a quality day out as per normal, roll on next week:)

Aye, dont do it again

Hugo did well with the tea making, about half a litre each per brew, lovely.

Hugo did mention he reckoned you dropped a load of Pyrite up there
