Been a while since I posted on here, and a while since I've been in the great outdoors. Thanks a lot London... :aargh4:
Recently I've been really wanting to get back into my outdoors stuff. I've got a cupboard full of arctic gear, paddling gear, axes, knives, stoves and tarps gathering musty odours...
So I want to go out for a long weekend camping/walking - but one problem. My knowledge of good spots/walks in Scotland is minimal (I'm thinking of Scotland due to access rights). And here's where I need BCUK's collective and weighty wisdom:
Where should I go?
I've scoped out a few routes in Galloway (just because I have the OS maps for Galloway) but I'm aware that it isn't necessarily the best place in Scotland to go.
Any help for this sofa dwelling ex wilderness guide would be much obliged!
