The labels are water-proof and pretty sticky, so you can use it to mark your route for following rescuers.

It depends on what you are labelling, it could be jars that have stored wild plants or herbs.

You could label small nalgene pots with one and then run clear tape over the top so you always know which one is the paprika, which one is the chilli powder, which one is the salt and pepper.

They have any number of uses if you use one.
