I cannot amend the swap thread, so bear with me here and any additional items added to the swap section. I am open to multiple items traded in the swap, just let me know what you are interested in?
Some items that are going to be offered are big and heavy, I will put trade values next to the descriptions. Pictures will be in order below.
With heavy items, ideally local collection, but could post based upon agreement for postage to increase the overall trade value.
kevlar rope/cord. There are two types here:
1st a round rope 6.6 mm thick and estimated 199m. I bought this brand new for my land rover defender 110, with the idea of getting a winch....i never bought the winch, about 1m or has been removed, for what reason I cannot remember. This is strong stuff, I forgot the weight rating but over a 1.5 tons. Trade value £85
2nd a woven kevlar rope, about 10mm wide, and 3mm thick. I honestly don't know how much is on the roll, but would guess 100m. I bought this part roll off a friend whom use it for his winch, and I know that his landy was lifted completely off the ground with this rope. Brand new part roll, estimated about 100m (but likely more). Trade value £45
3rd a very old banoet, this has an officers name engraved and the year 18??, engraving is difficult to read but not impossible. This is blunt and a small bend in the tip, see pictures. This is a lovely old bit of history and honestly to not know much about it, just fell in love with it in an antique shop, cost me £160 over 20 years ago, must be worth at least £100 trade value.
4th two short marshal arts daggers, bought as a show item, never used and very heavy and solid. Very well made. Trade value £45
More to come in possible trades
