I've just started the book, which I'm enjoying so this should be good.

You might remember this guy from Tales from The Wild Wood which was on Telly a while back (BBC4?) - I remember watching him using a billhook rather cack-handedly, but did enjoy that series.

Yes Dave. Am on chapter three and have found out a few things I didn't know about Ash - he makes the things (or rather experts do) out of an Ash he felled.

Just a Christmas day (evening) bump for this little thread. I've started listening and will turn off all the junk on TV to listen to a bit more later. I got the book for Christmas and based on what I have heard, I am looking forward to the read.

Just finished the book, enjoyed it, but it felt very truncated at the end, which was a shame.
