This Bowl is turned from a very hard African dark wood with a beautiful grain. Finished off with a polish and a coat of bees wax then buffed to a shine.

Beautiful work- can you tell me- do you rub the beeswax on the wood then apply heat to melt it in then buff OR melt it first then buff?

I use a stick of solid beeswax and run this back and forth over the wood a few times then buff it up to a shine. The only heat I used is the friction during the buffing process
