the swallows are going mental around here this week, Its a bit funny. The fledglings are having a rare old time.

I have a feeling they are going to head south early and we may be looking at a long cold winter. Use the pole to let me know if you agree.

I went for the cold winter option, sneaky those swallows like that. . . .
. . . .and I decided not to sell my ice climbing kit so heres hoping!

Have also noticed the swallows are leaving early this yr,the pair that use the garage had two broods and cleared off.Usually the swallows are the last to leave sometime in oct!!
The swifts left at the usual time about the first week in aug after doing their stuff.
Reckon the swallows just had enough of the uk weather......
