Suggest a leaving gift (knife)

Leaving my current job and have been asked what I'd like for a leaving gift.

Normally, people get an engraved glass or something similar, being a non-drinker it would be a bit of a waste.

I'd like a new knife though, any suggestions around the £40 mark, could possibly stretch to £50 for something nice.

I think i'd like a wood handle fixed blade survival knife. Do a fair bit of scouting and survival stuff, so an all-round workhorse would be ideal.

Any suggestions?

If it were me, I'd get a Scandinavian knife blank. Some of them are beautiful in their own right, and would make a simple but rewarding project. I like Lauri, Polar and Puronvarsi.
