I've noticed this on a few threads, some people post images in a large format without resizing them, and in doing this throw the forum all out of shape.

I know we should be encouraging people to resize their pics, but I was wondering if it might be an idea to implement an ehancement to the vBulletin that auto resizes massive pictures down to a sensible size.

On invision you can make all pics thumbnails, then you can put in the dimensions you want the thumbnail to appear in, the best size is normally 800x600 pixels, this then gets around the problem, it doesnt mess up the forum style and it just looks like a normal uploaded picture, but if you click on it you get the orginal full size picture in a different window, not sure if vbulletin, has the same admin style behind the scenes to do this.
