Hello all. Anyone been to Savernake Forest in Wiltshire? A friend recommended it for it's great variety of different trees. I've not heard of this place.

Evening 
Savernake is the only privately owned forest remaining in the UK and is fabulous I go through it every day on my way too and from work. It has a really wide range of flora and fauna but it does get fairly heavily used. Its not somewhere you could easily go and spend a few days as it is also managed and has a no camping policy other than in the autherised campsite.
