saturday overnighter

just a few pictures of our recent overnighter
this was the big labowski out going kit wt 13kg
our setups
al,scott,and matt
we had venison steaks for lunch and venison stew for supper it was my turn to supply the meat al braught the veg marinaded in red wine got no pics of that for some reason. harvestman aka mike arrived just in time for supper and baught some ramsons to add to the pot .
my setup
we all had a good drink in the night and plenty of chat had a good nights sleep not cold then matt did breakfast bacon and sausage lovely scott fire]all in all nice to meet matt and all the other guys again it had been a while hope to meet up again soon thanks to matt mike scott and al for organizing the meet regards dave

'twas a really good night.... You always take something away from the great one's!

My lesson was to not slip taking your boots off, sitting in a hammock. The sky became the floor rather quickly, much to dave's amusement

that looks great, your pack contents look very simialr to mine,what tarp do you have? looks like tenth wonder gear which are great and very robust(squaddie proof even)

Both where DD's... 3x3 (on diagonal) and the XL

I do have the tenth wonder hornet hammock, and its proving to be very good VFM
