was wondering past primark to day and spotted a nice red outdoors coat
£32 but thing that caught my eye was it has a avelanch tag and read the info on the coat

of you are unlucky enough to be caught in a avalanch while up on the slopes the mountain rescue and ski resort apparently have some device thats sends a signal to your tag and it helps them locate you

just thought id share that

It's likely to be Recco Tag ( Or a chinese copy of a Recco tag)
A lot of Ski wear is now staring to incorporate them into the garment..

Better than nothing but a Avalanche Transciever is the best bet if your heading into the backcountry along with a probe and shovel and similarly equipped partner and some knowlege of Avalanche conditions...
