[PORTUGAL] Serra da Estrela

In the past weekend, me and my wife went made a trekking trip to Serra da Estrela, with our GPS device fully loaded with tracks and our backpacks stuffed with gear and warm clophing! unfortunately duo to the weather, snow blizert and rain, we had to cancel some of the track and change the routes on others. Even so it was a great weekend.

NOTE: in this trail we were adopted by a Serra da Estrela femmale dog, that guides us all the way from the begining to the end. In the end as payment of the service, she got a full can of sausages just for her

Absolutely fantastic.

The dog is amazing, looks like she's worked as she has a collar, fantastic that she tagged along for some company though.

The dog and her puppies were laying on the grass on a small field at the start of the trail. We staid for some minutes paying with them and continued walking away. Some 5 minutes later we turn back and there she was, having left the puppies alone. At the end of our journey, the puppies were at the same spot, waiting for her.

During all the time she as very friendly!!!
