I have been trying for ages to get involved in instructing bushcraft, but have run into problems in the way of qualifications. People prefer someone who has recognisable qualifications. I cannot afford both financially or time wise to attend extended college courses. Is there any other way of gaining qualifications to teach bushcraft?

I know its down to the money thing again, but one of the young lads on the fundy bushcraft course at woodlore, started by attending courses, then assiting as a spare body and now is a fully fledged instructor, could be the way to go at a bushy school near to you, mabey offering yourself as a spare "unqualified" helper, I dont know what there view on insurance for a volenteer would be though, but it might be worth a try as a way in.
