newly restored axe

A newly restored double bit axe, handle is made from a plank of ash, its not quite finished yet but thought i'd post it up here; i put it on another thread however that seemed to be in the wrong section- my bad! Sorry for the awful pictures.

Looks great! Where did you get the Ash for the handle?

Cheers guys, the ash came from a timber yard in the form of a rather large plank, so a lot of work was involved in shaping!
