newbie from glasgow

Hi all

am a newbie from glasgow. have always loved the great outdoors but just never enjoyed
it as much as i have wanted to. now am at the age where all my friends are grown
up and have familys and just dont have time or intrest in going away for a weekend.
so here i am no meet new friends and learn abit more of this craft than just putting a tent
up in the middle of nowhere with afew cans and thinking job done lol

Hi Marc and welcome to the forum. There's a few folk around the Glasgow area on the forum...I'm just outside the southside myself. There are some Scottish meets arranged via the forum, I'm a newbie myself so haven't been along yet but hoping to get to at least one next year.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it here as it's a nice place with lots of friendly, helpful & knowledgeable folks.
