We are big fans of fruit cages - frankly, without them, birds, rabbits and rodents get most of our fruit!

We have just built a new one that actually isn't a fruit cage - it's a walk in chicken run! But it's 38mm galvanised poles and 19g weld mesh - but cheaper than an economy fruit cage with plastic mesh

Take a look!

I am literally wondering today about how to build something to protect my blackcurrants from woodpigeons.

I have old framing from polythene covered small greenhouses stashed away in the shed.
I also have netting

I think you may have just solved my problem for me :D
