Unfortunately this isn't for me but for a close friend and his wife who has recently sold their house and is living in a converted library bus until they can find some land. Being a teacher he doesn't want to quit his job here until the summer so cannot get up to Scotland to look.
They're after around a 100 acres of mainly woodland, preferably with a water source of some sort, remoteness isn't an issue. Ultimately they want to build a natural shelter, possibly out of materials on the land and to be as self sufficient as possible. They're the sort of people who live the life style anyway but in a more urban area and want to get away from it all.
They have the cash waiting but need help finding the right spot, I said I'd put it out to you lovely lot and see what we get back in
