I gotta say that my moderator spam-o-meter twitched when I saw this opening post. Maybe I am just being twitchy....
Two things bothered me.
First, there is no mention of any kind of pressing need for the tools, just that they are wanted, and if there is no pressing need, and the usual source of supply is going to start shipping again (their website says) on the 27th Feb, is there any need to rush elsewhere?
Second, I have never wanted a Cold Steel hawk, so did a Google search and the top three hits were:
http://www.coldsteel-uk.com/store/Trail-Hawk-Tomahawk.html where it goes for £43.10 inc shipping and VAT (£35.94incVAT for hawk, £8incVAT for shipping)
https://www.heinnie.com/cold-steel-trail-hawk where it goes for £39.95 inc VAT and free shipping
http://www.bladesandbows.co.uk/cold-steel-trail-hawk-5373-p.asp £31.50 inc VAT, shipping will be charged. Can't be less than £5 for something hawk weight.
I don't know anything about the coldsteel-uk people, and bladesandbows brought up this old thread suggesting that their service a couple of years ago was less than perfect
http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91742&p=1648087#post1648087 but Heinnie has a very good reputation and a lot of happy customers and I struggle to see how maybe a £5 difference in price makes their price "crazy high".
I would either wait another 2.5 weeks and order from where you are used to going, or order from Heinnie, where you are paying a little more to get the goods sooner and from somewhere with recognised great service.
Best of luck.
Chris
