Thanks again everyone. I had a lot of fun, and learned a lot doing this project.

Dreadhead:
My brother has dreadlocks as well and you're right, there's no way he could fit the hat on his head! It must be a problem finding good hats if you have big dreads? I can highly recommend making your own! I learned everything I know from YouTube videos and trial and error. Anyone can do it. Alternatively I can custom make anything to to any size. Worth a thought?
